Time for revision.

Sorry for the bad updating on the blog. As some of you can imagine (if you have read my previous posts) I have a really busy schedule right now, up until the 18th of May (when my final exams will be over!!)

Anyway today's activities consisted of spending the entire day, from 8 AM until 6 PM at the "IB Revision Courses" in Stockholm. I had my revision course based on one of my Higher Level subjects, namely History.

Like I said, it has been a loong day where I have revised almost everything covering the years from the mid 17th century until the mid 18th century. (For all of you who do not know the English way of counting the different centuries I can translate what I just wrote into the following; I've read about the mid 1800 until the mid 1900)

So I will follow the same schedule tomorrow. The course is based on two days of intensive revision and yes my dear friends, it is intensive.

You'll have to excuse me but I have lots of homework to do for tomorrow! Besides I have some packing to do since I'm leaving on Monday...!!!

It's been a loong day and I finally deserve to get some sleep now, although I have to wake up really early tomorrow due to a psychology test which I have in the morning. "Yay = Not funny at all.." Well the good thing is that it's tomorrow is the day with the big F = Friday! Crazy how fast the time passes us by and next week it's Easter! (Which I will be spending in England - looking forward to it!)

Anyway as I already wrote, it is time for bed. But before I fall asleep I will listen to this true love song performed by Celine Dion, who has a voice that gives almost everybody goosebumps! The song is called "Because you loved me" and I love to fall alseep to it. It gives me harmony inside my soul. Oh happy day.

Finally! As I was walking in town yesterday I felt the wonderful sun shining at me the whole afternoon! Lovely..! So I guess one could say it now. SPRING IS HERE! :) (Btw, I saw 3 yellow butterflies yesterday.. I think that if you see 11 then it's summer..! So I guess we're on the right track..)

Today is a big dag! The one event which all IB students celebrate at Saltsjöbadens Samskola, namely "The International Ball". It gives us students the oppurtunity to dress up and get really beautiful with hair, make-up you name it..! :) So I have lots of things to prepare for tonight, the hair, make-up etc. I will take lots of pictures tonight and I promise that I will show you perhaps one or two pics tomorrow.. ;) Anyway got to run now! I have never understood why I was born in such a wonderful and loving family. I have always had that certain feeling that I would never manage to become one of them. The truth is, I am one of them.

We share the same blood in our veins. We laugh together. We cry together. We argue about ridiculous things. In the end we know that the most important thing is that we love each other. You are my family. My blood and my genes. We share similar characteristics and I even got my father's blue eyes. I have the smile and grace to thank my mother.

I will never be able to thank you enough for all the good things you have all done for me. Things no ordinary friends would have done. The important thing is that you did. You were there for me. Supported me when I went through bad times or when I had lost my path in life, you were there. My family.

The only true friends one will have in life.

I love you. I wish I could say it more often. I am trying to figure it out why I find it so difficult to show how much I appriciate everything you do for me. It has been a mysterious for me and believe me I will find an answer to it. It's now or never.

The most critical time when, believe it or not, I will need every person's support I can get in order to get through this living hell I have decided to enter. I must say, that I have always been a positive person and I always believe in happy endings, no matter what.

Famous actors - Luke Wilson.

For a few days ago I saw the famous and hilarious movie "Legally Blonde" with Reese Witherspoon and Luke Wilson playing the two main roles in the movie. I realized that Mr. Wilson has been underestimated by us "ordinary people".

He is an excellent actor who has done many different movies, although, I must say that I prefer the comedys!

Anyway I also find him to be veeeery attractive! *turning red..* Well it's nothing to be ashamed of, on the contrary I'm proud of it. He's gorgeous. Just take a look at this beautiful eyes? Or the lovely smile? ♥ /Sofia

Sunny Sunday.

Amazing! I just glimpsed outside my window and I saw the beautiful sun shining right at me! Spring is finally here! Yay!

Anyway we'll see if I have a little time during the afternoon to go out for a lovely "spring-walk" it would be nice to get some nice colour now since (I guess we're all pretty pale after this long and dark winter..) I've been pale during all winter.. Not funny at all.

Well the end of this weak is finally here. I can't believe it. Only 6 more weeks to go..! OMG, I'm feeling an atmosphere of panic in my room right this second. Sorry I have to put myself together and do my very best. After all, this is my only ticket to get away.. Through my IB diploma.

Sadly enough this week has been a "... wierd week due to many happy and sad moments ..." meaning that I had to experience a terrible accident for about four days ago.. As always I am the kind of person who is always in the last minute, running for the train, late for the class (not always but yes sometimes I've been 5 minutes late..) etc. Well this week the consequence of living a life-style, depending on a terrible phenomenon such as stress it hit me. Very bad.

I was on my way to school and my mother was going to drive me (see I was that late..! Embarrasing) Anyway she was already on her way down to the car (We live in a house which is situated on a mountain, therefore we have many stairs to walk up and down every day, to be more precise I believe we have 82 steps or something..) and I was going to lock the door and leave. When I am going down the stairs I had so many thoughts in my head for the day's lessons, did I have everything with me? Books, pens etc. So suddenly I fell. I fell down for atleast 5-6 steps on the outdoor staircase. When I fell I hit my head towards the rocky ground and my entire right side of my body stricked towards the mountain-like pavement. For one second I thought. This is it. I will not wake up. The funny thing is that I didn't have any pain at first. Not until my mother screaming of chock tried to wake me up and pull me up I felt the pain running through my entire body. I was scared.

When we managed to get inside the house again I cried because of the pain and the chocking experience I just had gone through. Luckily I didn't break anything. But I still have the pain in my arms and I was left with a 10 cm wide ugly bruise under my right knee. The stress phenomenon had hit me and I finally realized how bad this could have ended. From that day on I promised myself to force myself to take it easy. In order to avoid terrifying situations like this one. So I am telling you all. Be careful. Situations like these only happen when we don't expect them. But when they do, it can end really bad. Take care of yourself and the people around you who seem to live a life filled of stress. I am telling you from my own experience and it definitely made me think. Twice. ♥ /Sofia

Freaky Friday.

Yeeeees the best day of the week is finally here! This week has been a wierd week due to many happy and sad moments which I'll write more about later tonight when I have more time..

I have loved these gorgeous silver heights ever since I first lay my eyes on them on rar's blog. Now there are many women who has written about these shoes in their blogs and I believe I am one of the later ones..

Anyway these magnificent sandals are perfect to wear on a regular day with tight slim jeans or to the hot party later on this summer! I believe since I am a "shorty" these beautiful heights will carry me up to new heights by giving me self confidence with the new "height" :) Yay!

Terrific Day.

I have to start this post by saying that I had a terrific day today! It turned out that I only had one lesson! (Biology which was fun, we had our own study-time, like revision for our exams in silence! Which is quite unusual to be our class but I guess it had to do with us students, we were a small group today so I guess that explains it all)

Anyway so I came home and asked my mother if she wanted to join me for a "quick" tour in town, meaning in search of my dress for my upper-secondary final graduation party (Mark your calendars on the date: May the 31st because this is the day when I'll be partying all night!) I hardly saw any white dresses in the stores around Stockholm, I guess it's still too early to be looking for the spring/summer dresses now since it's still not warm enough to be wearing those types of clothing during this season of the year in Sweden.

Seriously for a couple of days ago we had lots of sun and it was warm outside! Atleast 15 degrees or something and today.. It was snowing in town later on the afternoon! Crazy weather..

So I guess this is the last day of the week. Sunday. What a day.. Grey and rainy. Boring. Well I guess it's the perfect weather to be indoors, drinking hot chocolate and, do I dear to say it.. :/ well yes, study! Awful word, I'm sick and tired of it. It's just something I need to do for 7 more weeks! Yay!

I'm sorry, I wish I had more time to spend on the blog-writing. It's just that I've had a very busy week or a busy schedule so to speak.. I wish I didn't but that's just how it is.. For now atleast. I just finished watching one of my absolute favourite movies! Namely, "Dirty dancing 2" - Havanna nights or something I think it's called :)

Well let's forget about the name, one of the reasons for why I love the movie is because of it's music! I would say that it actually represents me and my background and the blood which is running through my veins.. It is hard to describe it but one knows it the moment you can feel it.

The second reason is because the famous and gorgeous actor Diego Luna is also one of the main characters in the movie. His beautiful smile and gorgeous eyes.. It makes me soo weak :) Although I have to say that I am rather tired so I better be off to bed and dream wonderful dreames of my "Javier Suarez" aka Diego Luna IRL ;) Good night, sleep tight! ♥ /Sofia

I shouldn't be writing in my blog right now, I should be working on my history IA which I have to hand in tomorrow.. I'll probably end up sitting by the laptop for the whole night.. :/ Luckily my first lesson is cancelled so I don't start until 10.30 AM I think.

Anyway sorry for the bad updating of the blog, if you haven't understood it yet well then here are some fresh news of what's going on in my life: I'm in the IB programme meaning that I have lots and lots of things to do the upcoming 7 weeks.. After that I'll be free!! (I'm longing for that day..)

Gorgeous jewellery.

It was a big and positive surprise to see that the lovely internet-shop KyssJohanna finally has brought in other new brands among other famous jewellery designers. Kennet Jay Lane and CC Skye are obviously two of my favourites! Although I saw that they are now also selling cool jewellery designed by Alex & Chloe! They have many different designs of jewellery but I must say that this necklace will be my favourite for this season! I love it!

Sweet summer days.

I'm so tired of all these numbers. I've been working on my maths project for the entire weekend and now I'm stuck. I'm tired and I guess I need some sleep. I saw this beautiful picture of Mila Kunis and her cute puppy (Jackie from that 70's show) which reminded me of those lazy sweet summer days when one can be outdoors having nice barbecues! Perhaps I've said it before? I wish it could be summer now!

Busy Sunday.

Once again I'm sitting here in front of my laptop complaining that yet another week has passed us by. All meteorologists has now confirmed that one of my favourite seasons is finally here! I'm talking about spring! I believe we can count on warmer days and definitely more sunshine. Yay!

When I woke up this morning I glimpsed outside my window and I could not believe my eyes! The sun was out and not a single cloud on the sky, wonderful the spring is here! It's been winter for too long I need some sunshine. I really do.

OC.

What can I say? I miss the OC, now more than ever. Nothing is like it used to be. The show is gone and who's left? None. I found this video on youtube, a video showing different shortcuts of Marissa and Ryan from different episodes.

The song "Heavin is a place nearby" is played in the background to honour our memory of Marissa. The OC is gone. And who's left? None. Nothing is how it used to be. What will happen tomorrow is something we have to wait and see.. Good night, sleep tight! ♥ /Sofia

Busy week.

I can't believe it's thursday today. Once again I have to ask myself "where did the week go?" The main reason is that I have had a really busy schedule with many different things to do for school etc. The sad point is that there is more to come! Because I have two big projects which has to be finished by monday.. So I guess I'll spend the entire weekend studying.. Yay! *not*

Anyway, it's been a long day so I better go to sleep. I've had this awful head ache since I came home from school, please let it be gone before the morning comes. Otherwise I will have to stay home and the truth is that I can't afford that, missing more important lessons.. I hope you all will have a good night! ♥ /Sofia

My dream and my passion. Chanel.

When one talks about eternal elegance one must mention one of the worlds most famous and glamorous brands, namely Chanel. When it comes to style and fashion the designers show us ordinary people what we need to know about the different collections that vary depending on the different seasons etc.

I must admit that Chanel is my dream and the contribution for my interest/passion within style and fashion. Why should anyone make it more complicated? I am not a big fan of Gucci or Versace. My inspiration belongs to Chanel and Chanel only. ♥ /Sofia

Miserable Monday.

And I am officially back in the system again.. I guess you know what I am talking about, the sports holidays are over and I am "finally" back at school again. "yay" (written with an ironic touch)

The metallic reward.

Wow, I believe I have found my "metallic" (instead of golden..) reward! (If I succeed with the studies of course..) I saw these gorgeous Converse shoes for a few months ago when I walked in to one of the biggest sports stores in Stockholm and I fell in love with them at first sight!

Since the colour metallic is really hot for the upcoming season (spring/summer of 2007) I would love to jump around on the streets of Stockholm wearing these beautiful shoes. I believe I got a little "energy-kick" now so I better get to work now before it goes away..! Have a great day! ♥ /Sofia

I need to study.

Today it is the last day of my sport's vacation. Amazing that the week has passed us by so fast. I have the feeling that the two months I have left before my exams start will pass me by much faster.. :/ Stress stress stress.
