So long!

Finally I've packed everything and I'm all set - ready to go! Although I will not be able to blog anything from Greece since I decided not to bring my laptop.. Really sad, I'm going to miss it! But I promise you all that I will tell you everything when I get back. I will take lots of pictures to so don't worry, you'll see a glimt from Corfu too! ;) Well I better get ready E's dad will probably be here soon, he is so kind that he's going to drive us in to town and from there we'll be on our own! Goodbye rain, hello sunshine!

It feels good to that I'm leaving soon. I looked outside the window this morning and all I could see was the rain falling down on the ground. I watched the weather cast and saw this big sun above Greece meaning that I will be welcomed with nothing else but sunshine! So goodbye rain, hello sunshine!

All eyes on her golden skin.

Wow now that's what I call a gorgeous woman! I normally don't write that much about Jennifer Lopez in my blog but when I saw this beautiful picture of her I simply had to!

The pretty smile, the breath-taking make-up, gorgeous hair and on top of everything look at that golden skin!

One of my goals with this trip to Greece is to try to get a nice tan so that I can come home and add some golden oil (which I in fact already bought earlier this summer..) and then arrive to the next party looking all fab like she does on the picture above!

It must be a new record?

I almost finished my suitcase! All the clothes, shoes, skirts etc are inside of it and I was quite nervous when I placed it on the scale but to my big surprise it showed 11.6 kg!! I thought this must be a new record? Since I always tend to bring everything with me - and I mean it, every little bottle etc because I always try to keep up with the same feeling I have when I'm home with all the different lotions etc.

I always hear complaints from my parents and brothers but I guess that this is just who I am, besides one can't compare a female's suitcase with a man's? (I'm referring to the situations I always have with my two brothers about always packing too much of everything..)

Anyway I'm really excited for tomorrow! I love being at airports and flying, the feeling, the atmosphere! I simply can't describe the feeling one has to experience it that's for sure! I have to finish the last details before going to bed early tonight (haha I'll try to, we'll see how it goes..) so I wish you all a good night's sleep!

Wow! I believe I did the right choice to pack no jeans and only shorts and other light dresses! It seems as if the weather is quite hot down there, yesterday I heard that there were 22 people who died in Albania due to the very hot weather? (I'm a bit scared - yes..) I will be drinking lots and lots of water I know I'm going to need it so don't worry - I'll be fine :) Anyway my stomach is rumbling, I really need to eat something, haha. Have a great afternoon!

Feels like last-minute packing?

Weird isn't it? I've been planning this trip for a few weeks now and somehow I manage to leave everything to the very last minute? (Or perhaps I should say to the very last day..? Which is today!) Anyway my goal is to finish ALL the packing today. I thought I should take a look at the weather casts to be sure that I'm bringing the right type of clothes. Time for lunch! Ciao!

Haha I know I might seem crazy.. I simply love the Swedish brand Acne. The picture above is from their next collection for the summer next season (2008).

(The reason for why I'm crazy is because I'm not "enjoying" this summer's collection but looking forward to another type of clothing for the summer of 2008 haha) I love the skirt but most of all the belt she's wearing!! Adorable. So feminine. Chic! :)

I can't believe it! We're leaving in 3 days.. I think that I better start packing.. I'm happy that I atleast finished my list of things to bring with me. Still it feels like I have soo many things to prepare before we leave. I better get started! Have a great day!

The hung over.

My feet hurt and I have the worst headache ever. Yes it's a sign that I'm having the typical hung over after last night when we celebrated Midsummer's Eve.

We had a great dinner at E's place and after that we went out to a club which we thought would be a disaster but after a while the girls realized that there were many pretty guys in there! I met a sweet English fellow on the dance floor. We danced, laughed and had a great time.

No I did not invite him home and I did not go to his place either. Haha I went home with my girls, smiling, because I had such a great evening! Anyway I woke up for almost 3 hours ago and I haven't had a shower yet. I believe I need it in order to wake up "properly" :P I hope you'll all have a great afternoon! Ciao!

Midsummer's Eve

It is a Swedish tradition, Midsummer. Unfortunately I do not have enough time to explain it all to you who are not familiar with this festive occasion we celebrate her in Sweden, but I will try to give you more infor later! Anyway I think we're about to eat lunch now, herring and potatoes (the typical food we eat during this day..) Later I will meet up with some friends and we'll be going out later tonight! Finally done.

Yes I'm done with all the boring paper work and I actually finished my list of things which I'm bringin to Greece. Perhaps I should leave a few things at home.. I'm worried that I will have too many kilos in my luggage (I think that the maximum weight is 20 kg or something?) Anyway maybe I should look at it one more time before I start packing. Once again it is time for another designer to collaborate with the Swedish empire of clothing, namely H&M and this time their next partnership will be with the famous Italian designer, Roberto Cavalli.

His collection "Roberto Cavalli at H&M" will consist of 25 pieces of womenswear and 20 pieces of menswear along with lingerie and other accessories.

To make this partnership even more exclusive his collection will only be available in 200 selected H&M stores and only for a limited period of time. The release date for his collection will be November 8th 2007.

Paper work.

Boring. I have lots of paper work to do today. But besides that I have also started with my list of things I need to bring to Greece! Unbelievable. We're leaving next Wednesday! Yay! I'm so excited. Yesterday's purchases!

I know I promised to show you what I bought yesterday, well here's a picture of almost everything! My jeans shorts are in the washing machine so I'll post a picture of them later.

From the left; two tops from Topshop and the third one is from Indiska, a package of cotton pads (to remove eye make-up), after-sun lotion from Apoteket, surf-spray from Bumble & Bumble, lotion from Kéraste, gel to remove other make-up and finally my beloved shoes from H&M!

I promise you I will use them as much as I can this summer! They are so comfortable and the best thing is that I found them on the sale for half of the original price! Yay! Have a great day!

The weather couldn't be any better! The sun is out and not a single cloud on the blue sky. I have the feeling that today will also be a good day!

My brother invited a few friends over so we've planned to eat tacos tonight - my favourite course for those who didn't know ;) Anyway what am I doing indoors? Haha sorry I'm going out now to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day! Ciao!

Black Hawk Down.

Wow it most certainly has been a long day today. My legs and feet hurt so much after all the walking in town. I did do some shopping too! Pictures will be posted tomorrow because I'm too tired to take any photos now.

Anyway I decided to have a little "movie-night" with my mother and two brothers. We ended up seeing "Black Hawk Down". A good movie with many excellent actors in it; Josh Hartnett, Orlando Bloom etc. (Many familiar faces so to speak) I really want to go to bed now, so this is where I leave you. Sweet dreams!

I simply couldn't sleep..

Unbelivable. I have slept really bad two nights in a row? I don't know what's wrong with me. (Normally I sleep like a bear..! Summer vacation.

Finally! All the final details have been settled including all the payments etc. My dear friends E, L and I we're going to one of the beautiful islands in Greece, the island called Corfu.

I think it will be good to take some time away from home, visit a new place and meet new people! Yay! The picture above is from the resort we will be staying at. Oh I can't wait..! Only 9 days left..!

I just realized...

I completely forgot the fact that today is Monday..! Meaning only two more days until I can watch the next episode of my new favourite TV-show, "Beyond the Break". Haha I know. I'm a geek but I just can't help it! I'm stuck in that fantasy, I want to go to Hawaii. NOW!! :) I envy you L... By the way.. I just realized that this was not an interesting post. Haha.

Kirsten Dunst.

She's an excellent actress. Not to mention her good taste when it comes to style - the way she dresses at red carpet events but also how she manage to look gorgeous when she's out running daily chores..

The picture above is a good example of it. In my eyes she is a style-icon and for this fall I will try to have the same look as the one she is wearing here. I bought a white pair of wayfarers (look-a-likes unfortunately not the real ones..) for this summer and I think I will look for a black pair for the fall.

But most important of all I will try to find a similar scarf! (For those who do not know me that well I can tell you that I love scarfs.. I will post a picture one day of my entire collection and I can tell you I have more than enough..) Haha anyway I'll let you know how it all ended later. If I found the scarf or not...

New plans. New goals. New life-style.

I woke up being very positive today. A bit strange since I had a weird and scary nightmare.. Hmm. Anyway. I realized that I have to create some kind of structure in my life. I have to make a plan of what I want to do. A new list of things I want to have accomplished before I turn a certain age etc.

So this is what I will be doing today. I will sit down and draw a big mind-map, you'll see pictures later tonight! ;) Time for lunch! Have a great day.

Grey day.

Finally it came. The rain. It's been sunny almost every day so I guess the nature needed some refreshments! :) Anyway I had to go out and babysit today. It was raining so much that I got wet from head to toes when I arrived at their house.

It felt as if it would never stop raining but it finally has. Although the day will continue being a very grey day so I'm thinking of watching a movie or something and put some warm clothes on! Have a great afternoon..!

What can I say.. I'm tired. It's been a very long day. IKEA was fun! I saw so many cool things I want to buy. I can't wait until I get my own apartment to decorate! Anyway I'll probably end up in bed quite soon so, have a good night! Sleep tight.

IKEA.

Today I will be spending a few hours at IKEA with C, he's going to buy himself a new couch! We'll see what we will end up with. By the way I love going to IKEA, their huge buildings with lots and lots of beautiful and practical things to buy.

For example my entire room consists of furniture from IKEA! Hehe I'm lovin' it. Anyway I bought a few paintings from IKEA many years ago. I would like to buy a few new ones but.. I don't think that my budget allows it right now.

(I'm kind of broke right now after the graduation and all..) Sorry I better get dressed now, I have to leave within one hour! I wish you all a beautiful day!

The summer of 2007 is saved!

I finally got the pair of shoes which I've been longing for so long. I wanted to find a pair which were similar to the ones Jesus had on his time, therefor I call them "Jesus-sandals" but when I found these I fell in love directly.

They are very comfortable and I think they are similar to the sandals that were born by Gladiators rather than Jesus himself? What do you think?

Anyway I'll be wearing them tonight since I'm going to have a girls-night-out, well we're not going "out" we will probably stay at a "girl-friend's" house and eat and perhaps watch a movie or something, nothing special really just "hang out" :) Sorry I better get changed since I'm leaving in less than one hour! Nothing but rain.

I must say, I love the rain. The sound of it. The smell of the fresh green grass after the rain has fallen on it. The thought of being indoors, like now, watching it fall down on the window. Anyway after the power-walk I had with my two friends today we decided to fulfill the dream we've had to go somewhere this summer.

Apparently we're going to Greece! We haven't booked anything yet but we're on our way to do it! Soon.. We would leave Stockholm/Sweden on the 27th of June and be gone for one week. I can't wait! Now it's time for dinner! Ciao

Finally bedtime. I'm so tired right now and I know that I need to go to bed early tonight because tomorrow morning I will start with the power-walks together with two of my "former" classmates :) Looking forward to it, besides afterwards we will start planning our upcoming trip for this summer! Good evening! I must start this post by saying what a great evening I had last night! The barbecue at K's place was a hit! We eat lots of good food and drank beer, cider, wine.. You name it! Not that I drank that much, I only had one or two glasses of wine so I did not do anything stupid. I met some old friends I haven't seen for years at the barbecue, so for me it was more like a reunion to meet old friends!

Later I visited C in Norrtälje. That was a long trip, luckily I had the chance to sleep for about one hour (the ride from town to Norrtälje) until I finally got there around midnight. We had a good time aswell and today I've been feeling so tired the entire day! (It feels as if I didn't sleep anything last night?)

We stayed up watching "Blades of Glory" - a great movie which I strongly suggest you to see! Anyway therefor tonight's plans are to do absolutely nothing. Relax and watch my new favourite TV-show "Beyond the Break" 8:00 PM on Channel 5. But first - a hot shower! Something I've been longing for the entire afternoon. Ciao!

I am sooo sorry Pre-Dp I wish you would have won the game today! You should have seen them play. They were great! Not to mention their cheerleading team!! Those girls were amazing too! Haha I remember when we had our first game and we were that serious too. Good old times.

Anyway tonight's going to be a little adventure for Moi! First I'll be off to an old friend, a really good one though! And eat some good food and drink some wine it will be nice! (I'll post some pictures from that evening later..!)

Besides I've planned to surprise her and the rest of the guests with a little thing made by myself! You'll see a picture of it to! ;) Later I'll be going to C and visit him in Norrtälje.. It's a long way to go therefor I call it "adventure" hihi. I think it's about two hours or something? We'll see how everything goes tonight wish me luck!

The annual football game btw Pre-Dp and IB1.

Today is the day we've all been waiting for. The annual football game between Pre-Dp and IB1 at Saltsjöbadens Samskola. Although this year a few things have changed. My class is no longer part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme since we've GRADUATED! Haha.

It is up to the new class of Pre-Dp and IB1 to show us what they got! This will be an interesting game. The pictures above are from the two years when we played the game. The first picture was taken during the football game of the year of 2005 and the second one from the year of 2006.

It's been less than 3 weeks since we graduated and I must say I already miss the group of people from the class. Hopefully I'll see some today! Take care and have a great day!

Nope. No shorts today either.. But I did find some other pretty things! From Monki. Two big "T-shirts" (they're not really T-shirts but something similar to it..) as seen on Elin Kling, I bought a black one and a white one.

Summer reading.

I've been out in the sun the entire day. Lovely but it's still very hot. Anyway I got a few books for my graduation and I have now started to read one of them. The novel is called "Anybody Out There?" written by Marian Keyes.

I've heard alot about her novels and I've wanted to read them for a long time. Finally I really have lots of free time!

This is my confession: My secret is revealed.

I can not believe why it took me so long. I know that the thoughts have crossed my mind before but I never considered them as "serious thoughts". I let my head think and act before my heart. Although I regret that I didn't listen. I really should have listened to my heart.

Anyway here I am. I have finally realized a few things through my thoughts. I know that I still long for the text messages you send me every day.. I know how happy you make me every time I hear your voice when you call me.. I know that I miss your warm and safe embrace every night when I go to sleep.. I miss you when you are not around. I miss you constantly. Finally it has been revealed. From now on you will all know that this was my secret that has finally been revealed.

Swedish strawberries and vanilla ice-cream.

Yes that's what we eat after our delicious dinner which my mother and father cooked for us and our guests tonight. We've been sitting outdoors for a few hours but I decided to go inside because of all the mosquitos..

(They are the worst thing about the hot and nice weather..) Anyway I better put on some mosquito-oil or something and go out there and act more "social" Have a great evening! I'll probably write more later.. Ciao!

It's over.

Yesterday was a crazy day! I had lots of fun! But as I said it was crazy... I have no more graduation fiests to go to. All my friends have graduated, including myself. I guess I had one too many champagne glasses last night but I think everyone did :P

So for today's plans. The lovely sun is still shining and it's still hot. Very hot! Amazing. We're in Sweden and not in South America, still we have the same temperature?

Anyway we're having guests today. So I better start tiding my room a bit so that I can go outside and enjoy the sun before the guests arrive. I hope you'll have a great day!

Busy day.

The clock is ticking.. I have to hurry because we are going to town to see other happy students graduate (I envy them because they have the perfect weather!) Anyway it's going to be a busy day. A happy day! yet still very busy. So have a great day!

I die a little every time we say goodbye.

What a great day! More sun. More delicious ice-cream. I spent the afternoon with C and his friends by having a really good dinner at "Ett Glas" - a nice restaurant you must visit if you go to Norrtälje! :)

Anyway I enjoyed the meal and meeting C's friends. After today's adventure I feel very tired. It could be because of the sun and the heat or perhaps that I didn't drink enough water? (I would say both are correct in this case..)

But when the day came to its end and we had to say goodbye at the bus stop I couldn't ignore the thought that I actually "die a little every time we say goodbye.." it is true. The hours went too fast. This I have finally discovered. I miss you. More than I was possible. Sweet dreams! ♥ /Sofia

I need to get a tan.

I'll continue tomorrow. Because this summer's project is namely to get a perfect tan. (I envy Nicole Richie, as seen above, look at that chocolate-brown tan? We'll see if I succeed with this thing or not. I'll let you know in August.) Ciao.

Beautiful day.

Today (or yesterday as it is now) was a beautiful day which is the reason for why I did not write anything in the blog. I spent the day outside with my family and a friend of mine. For all of you who did not know, yesterday was Sweden's national day!!

We eat great meals including strawberries with icecream! Delicious! I even got into the water outside our house (a small lake which was freezing..) Although the temperature was about 17 degrees. Anyway I'm so tired I better get some sleep. Sweet dreams!

Shopping cures depression.

Keira Knightley.

In my previous posts I have mentioned other beautiful women such as Sienna Miller and Kate Bosworth. A younger face which we've seen quite alot recently on the movie screen is Keira Knightley's beautiful face. An amazing young woman who has got plenty of talent to act and perform different characters in movies such as "Pride and Prejudice" and one of her latest movies are the three "Pirates of the Caribbean" films where the last one had its premiere not to long ago.

I can only say wow. Her magnificent deep brown eyes. The cute little nose. Her breath-taking hair! (I would love to have a hair like that! Especially the colour of it.. Should I dare to colour my hair?) If you ask me I would say that Keira Knightley definetely is one of Hollywood's most beautiful women, not to mention one of the most beautiful women on earth.

Future plans.

There are many positive advantages which can be listed now that I have finished the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. I have graduated and I am free to do what ever I want! Well almost.. Depending on how many points (which is calculated to form some sort of grade) I will get it will decide where I can apply, which Universities, courses etc. Previously I thought of going to America this fall and start studying immediately. Change of plans. I am way to tired to start studying directly therefor I have decided to finish the driving licence, preferably before christmas. That's my goal!

Although when thinking of which career to choose it's almost impossible due to the number of different careers. In today's modern societies you can become almost anything you want. Florist, dietist, master of engineering, doctor the list goes on.. My dreams which I had has a child have changed. From the beginning I always wanted to become veterinary surgeon. I have always loved animals but of course with age the dream changed. During these last years I have thought of other different careers such as; lawyer, economist, children's doctor (due to my passion for always helping others, especially children), artist (due to my passion for singing) etc.

But it is difficult to make the "right" choice of career if you are not certain of what you want to do the remaining 40 years of your life. I've been thinking about it over and over again and I must say it is not easy. Hopefully I will be able to figure something out during the fall and make a decision before christmas (because I have to apply as soon as possible, probably before christmas?) For all of you who read my blog you'll probably hear more about this issue later on during the fall when I will be investigating different alternatives where I might start studying for the spring term of 2008. Baby I can drive your car.

Haha weell almost. I've been out for almost 3 hours driving with my father. It went really good! I am so happy. My goal is to take the driving licence before christmas and if everything continues as it did tonight there won't be any problems..!

I keep on having the same day-dream where I am driving a gorgeous cab where I am looking all glamorous and enjoying the ride! I guess that the day-dream comes up every time I hear the song "Baby you can drive my car" which was sung by The Beatles. All I keep telling myself is, soon baby, soon..! Haha I can't wait!

I'm in love with the Hermès bracelet as seen on the picture above! It's classy and elegant. The perfect piece of jewellery one can have each day without "showing off". Perhaps a late graduation gift from someone? :)

Rise and Shine.

Amazing. Yet another day with nothing but sunshine. I wish we would have had this kind of weather on the graduation day.. Well well, not to worry we had a great time anyway! Unfortunately it's sunday.

Meaning I have to "clean" today. The only day during the week when I try to organize the room, do the laundry etc. Besides for all of you who didn't know there's a big event going on in Kungsträdgården in Stockholm during this weekend.

There will be many different chefs who organize and cook different dishes where ordinary people like you and me can walk around and try the food! I might be going to that with the family we'll see.. Anyway have a great day!

Alone.

There are times when you wish nothing else than to be left alone. When no one should bother you. No disturbing noises. No irritating voices. No other person in the room. The time when all you wish is to be left alone.

How will it end? Will we be more than friends?

I must have been blind. I can't believe I missed the golden treasure you left behind. Some sort of sign I should have seen. I'm sorry it feels as if I've been so mean.

I ignorred you. Your feelings. My head wasn't thinking straight. I should have listened to my heart and not rushed away but stand still and wait.

The kiss that actually took place. It felt as if you had taken me out to space. For one second I was flying and when I had to leave it felt as if I was dying.

What happens now? Shall we give this a second chance and if we could then please tell me how? It feels as if I have hurten you before. It's just something I can't ignore.

All I can say is that I've missed you. The way you made me laugh. The feeling of always feeling secure around you. Somewhere inside of me I will always care for you. I wish I could make you understand. But I wonder if I can?

I feel so lost right now. I guess this is the way you've been feeling for quite a while now. I'm sorry I had to put you through this. After all I'm not a special "miss.."

Cosmo + movie-time!

Good evening! I came home for about 30 min ago I went to buy some things with my mother, food more or less. I eat a great dinner, "rests" from the graduation which still tasted good! Haha anyway I've planned to do absolutely nothing tonight.

I will read some in my Cosmo and perhaps write a little shoping list for the next month! I need more summer-dresses and other tees etc for the summer. We'll see if I can go to town some day during next week. (When many of you still will be having classes..! Haha :P) Don't worry you'll have your vacation soon!

Sorry gotta run now, it's movie-time (meaning of course a movie that all of us; the entire family will watch during the evening, long time since we had one of our so called "movie-times" but I'm glad we're having one tonight!) So long, have a great evening!

Sunny Saturday.

What a wonderful day! The sun is shining and I cannot see any clouds on the deep blue sky! Lovely.

Today's plan is simple; I will take a few photos of myself in the graduation dress with all my beautiful flowers and gifts so that I can send out "thank you" cards to everyone who came and made my day so special!

And I will try to lay down in the sun to be able to get some "real" tan besides the "fake tan" I got from the can.. :P Perhaps my brothers will join me? Haha anyway I hope you'll have a wonderful sunny saturday! ♥ /Sofia

Another "mottagning.."

One of my family's closest friends who's daughter also graduated today, although not the same graduation as I did yesterday but she is now done to start working as a physical therapist!

I am so happy for her now that she's finally done after 3 years studying! It feels a little bit strange since I haven't started that journey yet.. But I sure will! (Soon...!) I'm still tired from yesterday so I guess I better get some sleep! Sweet dreams ♥ /Sofia

The best day of my life.

I want to start this post by thanking all of you who celebrated my big day yesterday! Thank you so much for making my day one of the best days of my life..! Yesterday I believe I cried, laughed and screamed of joy because the day had come. Still I had some moments where it actually felt so bad that everything had to end and the class had to split. But we'll stay in touch!

The day felt so long still the hours went so fast! The champagne breakfast during the morning, the lovely "student lunch" at school, the teacher's speeches (loved Lena's! - my Swedish teacher) the ceremony in the aula, the actual "utspring" when we were on our way out from the school's main entrance where I met my family, relatives and other friends who came and gave me flowers etc. The flak!! The ride where we went with out truck from Saltsjöbaden all the way in to town! The music.. Everything was great!

Towards the evening when I came home I had the opportunity to come home and meet many good friends, family members etc and I must say I was speechless by seeing all of these wonderful people standing in our living room waiting to congratulate me. Therefore I must say this was one of the best days of my entire life. ♥ /Sofia
