Nightmare. Deep Blue.

I felt so much stronger when you were around. You were the reason I kept my feet steady on the ground. I closed my eyes and counted to five. My skin started to shiver as I took a deep breath and decided to dive.

My body fell weightless from the steep cliff and was crushed when it fell into the cold. My body sank deep, heavy like a stone and I felt new scars on my skin that made me look old. The water poured into my lungs and made it hard to breath. I could feel how my heart's rhythm slowly faded away, beat by beat.

It felt like I had lost it all. I screamed, with horror echoing inside my mind and woke up starring at the opposite white wall. A horrifying nightmare which always leave me in tears. I call it Deep Blue. A reminder for one of my greatest fears.

Håkan Hellström - Jag ger Dig min morgon.

The weeks just seem to be flying by and so it's Friday again. Lovely! No classes today so I'll be working between 10 AM and 3 PM.

I managed to end a little earlier today because V and I are going to see the Swedish musician Håkan Hellström tonight at the amusement park called Gröna Lund in Stockholm.

I'm really looking forward for tonight and for those of you who haven't heard any of his music I've posted one of his best cover songs above, so enjoy and listen. Still I must say that most of his songs are in Swedish but you can still listen to the lovely melody and maybe just maybe understand some parts ;)

Wet Wednesday.

What a wonderful morning I've had so far, waking up to the sound of raindrops smashing towards my bedroom window and listening to soft music while eating breakfast. Perfect way to start a new day. Even though it will probably be a "wet Wednesday"..

My plan is to keep up this pace and tidy up the apartment a bit and maybe if I've got time I'll bake something before meeting up with L in town.

It's good to have a free day like this in the middle of the week, to stop and relax and just enjoy the day the way one usually don't have time with during work/school/studies/cooking etc.

Carpe Diem - Seize the Day.

Through life today and beyond tomorrow certain visions around us may never change. Family members within a family and special bonds between friends will never break and remain steady like the back of a mountain range.

How much time we have together will never be spoken. Sadly a young heart has yet one more time been broken.

Here is a small reminder for you, take good care of your beloved ones. If you have children, take care of your daughters and/or your sons.

Promise yourself that you will never take anyone for granted. A precious angel has finally landed.

Do not put up things for tomorrow, expecting that you will have time to experience it then. Live life today and not tomorrow who knows when it might end, nobody said when?

Let love find you and guide you on your way. This is all I needed to say. Keep it real.

Talking about a great Friday Feeling.

Good morning! Even though I had difficulties sleeping last night after a delicious breakfast I'm loaded with enthusiasm over the fact that it's Friday! (Meaning no classes but work)

Anyway like I wrote I don't start working until 1 PM so my plans for this morning is to tidy up the apartment and if I've got time I'll go to town to buy some new flowers - my latest passion is the Phalaenopsis orchid - a true beauty.

I never thought I'd say this but maybe I'm getting green fingers now from all the sudden interest in flowers? Haha. Time to get rolling.. Have a great day/evening everybody!

Another week is going towards it's end, amazing how fast time flies. Luckily I've got another day off tomorrow to rest and read but I've got to work again on Sunday.

Our store is full of brand new autumn clothes and it's starting to look really good now that all our sales items are gone.

Anyway time to get back to the couch and just enjoy the rest of the evening! Have a great day/night depending on what time it is at your place :)

It caught me again.

It's been a while since I had it but this is my confession, it caught me again. I'm talking about the fall/winter cold.

I was just looking down from my bed this morning and it almost looked like the man's office on the picture above, not as many of course but I've got my own little pile of toilet paper. It's awful really, I hate being sick. The lack of positive energy seems to have disappeared from my body.

I simply had to stay home this morning but I will have to show up at work in the afternoon. The sun appears to be shining outdoors, maybe I'll step out for a walk to charge my batteries.

Anyway I wish you all a beautiful Thursday and remember it's not summer anymore so keep the jacket on! Otherwise you'll end up like me and the poor fellow on the picture. Later!

Falling Star.

You looked me deep into the eyes and asked me what was wrong. I kept my eyes focused on his angelic and anxious eyes, wishing I had never recorded the song. I knew what was coming. It felt as if I had known it all winter not to mention all spring.

My hands started shaking in a response to the walls that were falling apart deep inside of me. The tsunami that soon would appear behind the thin veil of my blue eyes and that would humiliate me.

I was at the edge of a inner collapse when he suddenly caught my hands and said, with what to me was a sudden calm, to trust him. Of all people I knew he was the only one to understand and that is one of the reasons for why my heart had fallen for him.

Times were difficult and my deepest fear was to loose it. The special chemistry, the laughter, the music and many other things we had in common. Good or bad I would miss every part of it. I couldn't and didn't say a word throughout the entire evening. At the same time I think we both knew what I was feeling.

Never had a bond been so strong between two people. He could never upset me neither make me purple. As time passed us by clouds had dissapeared and left an endless black sky. In his company I never had a reason to feel shy.

Suddenly our attention was caught by a stream of light that appeared on the sky. It was a sign, a falling star.

After spending almost five hours last night babysitting 7 kids (!) at a 40 year old birthday party I managed to sleep far too many hours this morning. Exhausted as I was when I came home I'm not surprised that I managed to sleep for so long.

Anyway today is the last day of vacation since I've got new classes that will begin tomorrow morning. It's amazing how fast the summers keep on passing us by. I remember how I used to think that the summer vacation always felt so long but as I 've gotten older I've realized that my dad was right when he told me that for every year we grow time seems to catch up on us.

Got to run, time for lunch, I'll write more later :)

Day off.

I'm officially back in Stockholm! I loved the festival up in Östersund but it's good to be home again. Unfortunately I didn't have a good camera to take pictures of the different artists as I promised so I'll try to look up some from the Internet later!

Anyway as I wrote I'm back, back to reality, back to work and catch up with my mentality. So I had a day off from work today - yay!

For once I had time to do boring stuff such as sleep, do the laundry etc. which believe it or not felt nice! Haha am I becoming a housewife? Atleast not a desperate one.. Time for a shower, I'll be back soon!

Festival.

Hey there! Sorry for the extremely bad updates on the blog but as I've written before I've been busy working 6-7 days per week which doesn't leave that much time to write here like I did before. But I'm back now :) And believe me this time I will try to write more than I've done these last months.

Anyway right now I'm sitting in V's mothers appartment in Östersund. We flew up Monday this week and we're staying until Monday next week.

We're here to attend the festival called "Storsjöyran" which has been held here in Östersund every summer since 1963. All in all we're going to see great artists such as; Lady Gaga, Sahara Hotnights, Takida, Dead by April, Veronica Maggio, Frida Hyvönen and more.

First up tonight is Sahara Hotnights, Takida and Anna Ternheim. Time for lunch now but I'll be back with pictures later!

With only two days left to my brother's graduation I honestly can't feel more exited than I am right now! I've been busy like a little bee trying to combine both work, help my mom to clean and arrange things for the party and celebrate V who had his birthday last Friday (which is when the picture is taken btw). Happy Birthday again, love.

Anyway I figured I'd say hi and let you guys know that I'm still alive.. :) Things will probably become much more relaxed after the party on Thursday meaning more time to blog ^^. I wish you all a great week!

Pictures: My first room

V and I have planned a trip (or I think there actually might be two trips..?) to IKEA. I have so many different ideas to the apartment and the pictures above illustrates one of them. I thought of buying paintings to put up on the walls and yes we might have a few smaller ones but when I saw this I thought this idea of printing "words" on the walls was a much cooler idea and unique.

So the pictures above are just a few examples of words full of wisdom in English, Latin and Swedish. I love them all but I think we would only put up one or perhaps two phrases on our walls. Which one do is your favorite among these? :)

Girl's Night Out!

Busy lady.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is the last day of classes (finally!). I got my new work schedule for the summer and it seems as if I've got a few periods we're I'll be working 6 out of 7 days per week. Guess I'll be a very busy lady during those weeks.

Anyway about the apartment everything is going great! Last weekend we (V, my dad and I) spent the entire Saturday painting both the living room and master bedroom - both rooms turned out white instead of mint green and it looks bigger and so clean.

The white sofa is standing on its place in the living room along with the furniture for the tv and V's new glass desk. In the master bedroom we've placed my new desk but no bed yet. We're still looking for the "right one".

Yesterday I came across two white and beige star printed blankets which would look perfect on the sofa so next week when I'll get my salary I'll buy them :).

I better go and get ready, I've got a few errands that I need to do at the pharmacy - yes I just don't seem to get rid of this cold. Anyway I wish you all a great Tuesday!
