An artistic Saturday.

It's been a while since I did anything creative. Well obviously I do write a lot but and I sing/play on my instrument almost every day but apart from that I haven't been drawing for a very long time. Another great passion of mine that had to be put aside for a while due to lack of inspiration.

Anyway that was not what this post was supposed to be about. For many years I have tried to keep some form of diary without success until I decided to combine my everyday texts with other poems, quotes, thoughts and songs that inspire me.

The result of this is what you can see on the pictures above! (Click on the images for larger views) The magnificent book which I found at NK in Stockholm reminds me a lot of "The Lord of the Rings" saga and since I am a big fan of calligraphy I decided that all texts shall be written with one of my calligraphy pens which I got from my dad last Christmas.

With light snowflakes falling outside my bedroom window I therefore decided to stay indoors today and just have a relaxed and artistic Saturday. Have a great day!

No matter what you say you won't be able to make certain things undone. I've began to realize that I'll be far much better off with you gone.

Hot coco for two?

He will always be her Hero.

He found her unconscious as she had fell through the deep black hole in the ice. Someone had to make a decision about her life and so the little angels threw a white dice.

Her hands were all twisted as she had tried to keep herself warm. With disrupted eyes he got a firm hold of her shoulders as he lifted her with one steady arm.

Her heartbeat was slow and uneven but he never stopped believing. She was going to make it, that was his inner feeling.

He wrapped her in his arms and kept whispering inside her ear, "you've been saved, please hold on just a little bit longer". She spent almost an entire week at the hospital, waiting for her heart to get stronger.

Her family were there standing by her bed when she finally opened up her blue eyes just like a newborn child. He was standing right next to the door watching her with a careful eye as he felt how his heartbeat went wild.

She met his intense gaze and felt how the blood rushed up and coloured her face. They both smiled, she knowing that she would be forever grateful that he had saved her life, he feeling relieved that she was safe.

No doubt that the designers at the Spanish fashion empire Zara found their inspiration for the designs as seen on the picture above from Stella McCartney and her designs for S/S 2009.

As I mentioned before I'm glad to see that the white jacket is back! I bought one a few years ago from the Swedish brand Tiger of Sweden. I can't wait until I can wear mine to lighter dresses/skirts for spring/summer.

I will definitely go with the black/white/nude colours this year and it looks so good both on white and tanned skin. Anyway like I said, the clothes above are gorgeous not to mention the hot model - Lara Stone..

Please, try not to judge me by my sometimes impulsive, sensitive yet personal actions. Please, try to have patience with me since I have never been good at calculating difficult fractions.

Please, try not to be suspicious whenever I say something that might be new and perhaps a bit frightening to you. Please, try to remember that I would never do or say anything to hurt you.

Sports Holidays.

Next Monday starts the annual Sports Holidays here in Stockholm which means no school for children/students. Even though I won't have any classes I still have to study, there's two big tests coming up within a few weeks still I am going to try to enjoy and relax a bit, I think I deserve it :)

Still many families goes up north to ski but usually it's really cold during this season and I prefer the Swedish skiresorts during the Easter Holidays which is by the end of March when it tends to be much warmer.

I'm not going skiing this year but I might next year and so I'm thinking about giving snowboard a second chance ;) I've always wanted to learn it so I'm not giving up! We'll see how it goes.. (to be continued)

We had such a great time! It was one of those rare occations when actually everybody (!) was having a good time - it seemed like it anyway!

Done: I've been busy studying all day basically (boring I know) but I did meet up with L on the train home so we had time to talk a while :)

Worst: I don't know, nothing I suppose? I had such a fun weekend so I got a good start of the week
Weather: Still cold (below cero) but we had beautiful thin snowflakes coming down from the sky earlier today so it felt as if it was December all over again which made it feel kind of cosy :)

Happy Valentine's Day! ♥

Sorry about my absence these last couple of days (!) I've been pretty busy almost every day. Anyway today's Valentine's Day! A day which many think is only for commercial purposes but I still think that it's a day when we should show the people we love a little bit extra than what we usually do.

Tonight L and her corridor mates have arranged this Valentine's Day Party which I'm think is going to be great! I better get started, next up a shower! I wish you all a happy Valentine's Day!

Beautiful day with signs of Spring.

I had almost forgotten how warm and pleasant the sun can make you feel. For the first time since I don't know when we were finally able to see the sun today. As I walked to the train station while leaving home this morning I simply could not stop staring up towards the blue and cloudless (!) sky.

The thick layer of snow is gone and so I'm just waiting for the first sign of our bay's two beautiful swans. (My mom even named them, how cute isn't that? :-), Sonja & Viktor)

Whatever there's left of this dreadful winter let it please pass us fast, I'm longing for Spring more than ever now and I truly want this feeling to last!

P.S. As if my day could not end in a better way? I'm finally going to see "Twilight" on the movies tonight with E, if only I had enough words to describe how passionate I've become about this beautiful novel ♥ D.S.

Terrific Thursday.

I, I simply could not wait. I'm sorry E but I just had to see the movie - today! Even though it was on the Internet I actually think that the quality of the film was not too bad as I had expected it to be.

Still of course it's always better when you go to the movies and I'm still going (!) despite the fact that I've already seen it ;) Why? Because I honestly can't enough of Edward's piercing eyes. I got goosebumps every time the camera focused on them and I loved that feeling.

Haha call me crazy but I'm sure I'm not the only female that got lost somewhere in this mysterious fantasy? :P Edward Anthony Cullen (formerly Masen - when you were human) - You are exactly my brand of heroin.

I find it hard not to cry.

This precise melody is settled on repeat in my Ipod every time I hold this magic novel in my hands. As I keep listening to it I let my eyes sail throughout each and every page.

Please listen to it if you have a few minutes, if you'll get "bored" because of the melody there's at least some beautiful pictures to look at ;) And wonderful phrases to read.. The song is called "Kiss the Rain" by Yiruma.

Never felt so caught up since the Austen novels.

My family must think I'm crazy, not to mention all people I've passed on the train/subway or when I've walked myself home.

These last days I haven't been able to (literally speaking) put down the novel (as I mentioned in the previous post) - I'm completely hypnotized with the dazzling story!

I'm already at chapter 17 out of 24 and I can't help but feel terrified about the fact that I might end it too soon?! Considering I don't want it to, still trying to enjoy every single word that has been printed on each and every page. Absorbing the beautiful story as if had been a never ending sweet.

Just like the title learns I haven't felt so caught up in a novel since I read the Austen novels. This may be the first novel I have ever read by Stephanie Meyer but it most certainly won't be the last.

In fact, this will truly be a serie of novels that I'm considering to read over and over again.

My beloved friends E & L gave me the first two novels in the Stephanie Meyer collection for my birthday! So now I have finally started reading the first novel "Twilight" and I don't know what to say except I'm loving it!! I really do.

Now I understand why E finished all four (!) novels during the Christmas break. I've been reading every time I've had a few minutes for myself this week and I'm so glad that the girls convinced me to read it! :)

I dare say that it's even better than Harry Potter but I'm still a huge fan (!) I'm looking forward reading it later today when I'll be sitting on the train towards town.. I honestly can't wait ^^

Busy week.

As S mentioned the last time we spoke on the phone, "You really are busy the entire week aren't you?" and so I replied "That's correct, with 3 birthdays to celebrate (including my own), school, family/friends I have planned something to "do" every day this week".

Which is a result of why I haven't have enough time to write new posts. But it's been a fun week! It actually feels great to be 21 now, I'm older and hopefully much wiser :P

Anyway I haven't planned that much for today though. Just a walk and perhaps dinner with S later tonight. Oh and I almost forgot! I've cut my hair, just yesterday! Haha those who know me would probably not be able to see any difference but I sure do "feel" the difference ;)

So with a few highlights in it and with a "shorter" haircut - I'm ready for spring now! I should probably get dressed.. I wish you all a great Sunday!
