Packing.

Once again I am heading towards the beautiful Swedish paradise.. Is it not obvious that I am talking about Strömstad? ;) It is a small city near the water, on the west coast of Sweden (very close to Norway!)

We're leaving tomorrow and I have opened up my suitcase but the problem is.. It's empty! I guess all there is left is some last-minute-packing, as always.

Still I am longing for the beautiful landscape not to mention all the great things we'll be doing! Unfortunately I will not be able to write in my blog but I will write some sort of diary which I might publish here I have not decided that yet.. We'll see! ;)

Not to mention all the wonderful pictures I will take.. Perhaps you will see one or two afterwards when I get back (that is in 2 weeks)..Oh I better get back to my suitcase.. Hopefully I will write more later! Ciao for now!

Summer evening.

The day is fading towards its end. The last warm flashes of the golden sunlight I will send. Will you catch them?

The adventures of tomorrow are still unknown. To predict what events that will take place is an ability no one will ever own.

The cool wind caresses my cheek. I admire the view of the splendid display of colours displayed on the sky this summer evening. I wish this could all last until the end of next week.

There is something very special about dawns and twilights. For they are always unique and one cannot help than to stay awake and watch the beautiful sights.

For now the cool wind is gone and so are all the warm flashes that were seen on the sky. It is time to call it the end of the day. For now I will lie down and dream about the good events that took place today.

Keira Knightley painting.

Yesterday evening I decided to fulfil one of my big dreams! To create a big collage/painting of these spectacular pictures of Keira Knightley taken by the famous photographer Arthur Elgort.

They were published in Vogue during the month of June this year.

Anyway so this is how it all ended..! I must confess that I am very proud of it! So now I can always look at my wall and enjoy the beautiful view of all the beautiful pictures of Keira.

Rocks and Mountains.

A new day has arrived. A new day where I have no reason to be terrified. No fears that any man could ever tear my heart apart. For I have realized the wonders which lay underneath my skin and the inner strength inside my heart. It is time to stand up straight. For once in my life I have decided not to wait. I want to share my joy with the wonders of nature. Each and every rock including the great old mountains, yes I would say with every creature. "For what are men compared to rocks and mountains?" Open up your eyes and embrace nature's beautiful sights. The green hills and the deepest forests they have all become my golden harvests. For I have finally learnt how to sing with all the voices of the mountains. For I have finally realized that my eyes are two deep fountains. But most important above all is that I will not let myself fall. Not once. Never again. For I have found myself not in the company of a man but with a great and wise mountain.

Listen to the tooth-fairy.

For some of you this post might sound a bit childish due to the title of it, still I hope you will read it and understand the great importance of why we should treat our teeth in a correct way and not just ignore it like many of us do.

It is a quite well-known phenomenon that millions of children/teenagers and yes sometimes even adults that "skip" to brush their teeth once in a while. Sometimes it appears more often..

The reason for why I am bringing up this issue is because I was one of these teenagers. After I had come home from a late party I was too tired to even bother to think about such a silly thing as my teeth.

I did not know what condition my teeth were in until I visited the dentist only a few weeks ago. She said I had a beautiful smile and I was very flattered by her compliment but when she suddenly looked "around" in my mouth she became very serious and said that she was very worried about the way my gums looked like.

According to the dentist it was too red and she showed me some pictures of a well-treated mouth and vice versa. I saw the big difference and suddenly I was worried too.

I have now started to treat my teeth in a better way by giving them more "attention" by brushing them every day after each meal! And by using other equipment I have never used before (I had braces for almost three years so that made it difficult to use dental floss etc.) therefor I have now noticed that my teeth look so much better now and I am so happy that I listened to the dentist or perhaps I should say the tooth-fairy? ;)

Anyway it will prevent me from loosing my teeth at a much younger age. So I strongly suggest to you all, take a look at your teeth in the mirror and start using other dental equipment such as dental floss because it really works! Good luck and do not forget to brush them regularly (at least two-three times every day!)

New skins for my laptop and iPod.

This type of skin is called "The Great Wave" and is created by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai.

This type of skin is also created by the same artist although it is called "Kobe".

I saw a very cool website where one could find new skins to iPods and laptops! The two skins above are the ones I am interested in! I like both but I have to decide for one of them..

I showed it to my brother and I believe that he is interested too! I mean why not? It will probably make your iPod/laptop more unique besides it is a good way to put a personal touch to it! The price for the iPod skin is $14.95 and for the laptop $29.95 therefor both together would cost about $45. We'll see which one I end up with..!

New book list.

I know that it might seem a bit odd that I am actually longing for the cold, windy and rainy days of Autumn now when it is summer outside and the temperature is above twenty degrees but I simply cannot help it! It has captured my soul and the fact that I am born in a cold month such as January.. I wonder, perhaps it could have something to do with it? Haha I do not know. But maybe?

Anyway I wrote down a few novels that I must read during those cold days when everything outdoors seems to be nothing but grey. I have already read a few of them but who would mind to re-read a classic novel such as Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice?

Looking for a nice light to catch.

I could spend hour after hour watching beautiful and amazing photos/pictures that artists all over the world have taken/created and then published on the website above.

Anyway I found this picture today and I must say that the artist's comment to it makes the photo even more beautiful! It said; "Sometimes when you're down or annoyed, it's good to just have a walk, looking for a nice light to catch..." Therefor I'm going out now! So I'll write more later.

My thoughts on paper.

For what is love worth if it cannot be trusted? You reach out thy hand and you end up being hurted. The heart is fragile like glass. Still I will not pretend to be a special lass.

For what is life worth living if you decide not to take part of its marvelous wonders? By helping our fellow beings who live under difficult circumstances we can, united as one, exterminate all their problems.

For what will our earth be worth if you join the group who are destroying it? Climate changes, moving mountain ranges and many other issues are now rising.

For what is faith worth if we cannot trust and help each other? You must reach out thy hand, open up your heart and see what is really going on in our surroundings.

I have learnt this by listening to my brother. It is time for us to make a change and stop thinking "I don't bother..."

Time for a change.

When it comes to the different seasons I would say that I love the fall and the winter more than the other seasons.

Somehow I always tend to have that special feeling; something new is about to happen when the fall arives. Perhaps it is the changes we can see in our surroundings that make us feel this way?

The magic spirit in the leaves when they turn into golden colours instead of pale green as seen during spring and summer?

All I can say is that I'm longing for this fall to come. Because I still have this feeling that something new will happen. Something big and something good.

I guess I've written it before. Still I have to admit that I mean it now, more than ever. I guess it is time for me to "grow up". I'll be turning twenty soon and I have to deal with some big issues in my life before that.

All the things I've been writing about in this blog will now be putten aside. It is time for more "mature" posts. Deeper posts and more serious posts I guess. Big questions in life and other issues that is going on around the world.

All this responsibility I have upon my shoulders, I have to deal with it now before it is too late. So I guess it is time for a change..

Victoria Beckham coming to America.

Last night I saw a few clips from youtube which Catya had published on her blog. There's a new show going on in the US about the Beckhams and their move from Spain to LA. It's called "Victoria Beckham coming to America" and in the short clips we follow Victoria when she arrives and all the other things she has to do to prepare before the rest of the family arrives.

I think that the show is quite charming since I haven't seen this "side" of Victoria before, she smiles almost all the time while we are introduced to see how she gets along with her life. I hope we'll be able to see it Sweden soon, until then I guess I will be stuck on youtube..! :)

Since the sun is out again one should take advantage of it and run around in a white summerdress like the one above. Therefor this is today's "dream" oufit.

I have always loved black clothes but when summer arrives I try not to use it as often.. The combination of white clothes and brown, leather details such as a pair of high heels or why not the gorgeous bag from Chloé as seen above? If only I had the money... Keep on dreaming! :)

Sunshine.

Finally! After so many days of nothing but rain the sun has returned! Therefor I will probably spend the day outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather! But first a "late" lunch..! Ciao!

Cruz Collection.

Penélope Cruz and her sister, Monica, were both in Ibiza a few days ago for a fashion show of the collection they designed for MNG by Mango.

Based on the sister's own vintage pieces, the line will hit Mango shops this fall - the big question is will we be able to see it here in Sweden? I hope so!

No more vacation.

As silly as it might sound I am actually "tired" of having vacation. I need to do something. Therefor I am quite happy to start working on Sunday. Although it's just a summerjob (3 weeks) but still, I will have something to do.

Anyway I'm feeling a bit weird right now, some kind of stomach ache I don't know. I guess it will be an "early" evening so I wish you all a good night! I'll probably write more tomorrow. Ciao!

American cookies and sims.

Yepp, the American cookies are probably the best cookies in the whole world. I'm glad we came home early from the cinema because now the rain is pouring outside my window. Still I find it quite cosy to be inside, writing in the blog and eating these delicious cookies! :)

Anyway the movie was great! I loved it and I think that this one was probably the best of all four movies that has been made sofar. Now it is time to play Sims on my laptop with my youngest brother, I promised him.. :P So I wish you all a great evening! Ciao!

Harry Potter and the Order from the Phoenix.

Finally! Today is the big day. The four of us (dad's not coming) are going to see the new Harry Potter movie for the first time in the cinema Sergel in Stockholm. I am very excited about it and I promise you that I will tell you what I thought of it later..

Now it is my "turn" to cook today (we have this schedule in our family to make sure that we all help our mother and father and to cook a few times every week. I think it is a good and fair system!) so I better get moving.. Have a great day!

Oh welcome beautiful day! The sun i shining outside my window and I hear how "Clocks" (the melody sang by Coldplay) is being played in the next room.. My brother's room, he's playing on the keyboard and I must say that it sounds really good now! I'm proud of him :)

Please...! Give me the style of Ashley Olsen! Her outfit on the picture above is gorgeous! The big sweater (I'll be looking for a similar one for the fall!), the bag with a big B, the jeans, the flats and on top of everything her wayfarers!

When will you stop acting like you really care?

There are a few things that bothers me in life. People being unfaithful, people who commit crimes such as murder, rape and other horrible things. Although there is one thing that is more common in our ordinary lives.

Have you ever met a person who just "pretends" to be your friend? I sure have, (unfortunately) more than a dozen times. I pitty these people because either they are very insecure with their selves or they just want to become "popular" by being "friends" with everyone.

I have learnt from my mistakes because I used to be very naive (I guess a small part of me still is but that's just who I am and I'm proud of it) that is the reason for why people decided to "step on me" and to take advantage of me, in every way they could.

I guess one could say that I owe a great deal to these people who treated me that way because if I hadn't gone through it I would never have learnt that important lesson about people like them.

Don't get me wrong though, I am still outgoing and very social as before! But. I am more careful now and I don't let as many people "in" as I tended to do before. Meaning that I have chosen to keep more things to myself with one exception I can share "secrets" (I can't find any other better word right now..) with some one that I truly trust.

A special some one that deserves to be called my friend.

Like the deep footsteps in the sand, you came along and held my hand.

I saw these two faces, they were smiling and in my eyes they were two golden aces.

Like the small seashells I had found in the sand, you came along and disturbed my land.

The magic moment when 2 become 1. The magic moment when they reached out for the sun. A new day had arrived. A new life that had to be described.

All one could hear was a sweet little melody. Two hearts were singing this beautiful melody. All due to pure happiness, I believe that is what I am trying to confess.

The joy when two people come together. I treasure these moments as if I would find a golden feather. Their journey has just begun. And one should not forget that they have all the blessings from the sun.

Raindrops keep falling..

Yepp, once again it's raining outside my window. I guess this is what they call "typical Swedish weather during summer". But I'm happy that my youngest brother and I had time to go out this morning on a power-walk! (Before it started to rain..!) So I guess I'll be spending the day indoors again.

After all it's friday and the new Harry Potter movie has it's premiere today! (We're going to see it on tuesday, looking forward to that!) I have to go now but I hope you'll have a nice day and for those who are going to the premiere have a great time! Ciao!

My two dearest friends.

My brother is finally home again. I know he had a good time with his closest friends. Still every time he goes away it feels as if I have so much to say. How can you say goodbye to your very best friend? The one you can always count on; today, tomorrow and all the way until the end.

We share many great things in life, I also hope that one day I'll be good friends with his future wife. The same blood runs through our veins. We have laughed, we have cried and we have gone through different kinds of pain.

Still we will always stick together, the three of us, me and my two golden feathers. They are the reason for why my love to them will always have wings to fly.

Because whenever I am not around or if they would feel lonely even though they are surrounded by a big crowd, I will always be there for them. I am so happy that my brother is home again. ♥ /Sofia

Rise and Shine.

Almost... I guess I won't be spending the day outdoors that's for sure. There's nothing but grey clouds on the entire sky so I think I better stay inside. I have the feeling that I will probably end up "cleaning" today.. I just looked around in my room and there's too many things all over the place so after breakfast I'll get started with it! New idea.

As I was watching the TV-show "Beyond the Break" earlier this evening I was thinking of how many cool outfits they have created for the girls in the show! I have always loved the inspiration behind all the surfers who has become designers and who has created surf-clothing such as the big famous brands; Quiksilver, Roxy, Rip Curl, Billabong etc.

So when I saw this T-shirt above from Roxy I thought wouldn't it be cool if I started to do some drawings and perhaps one day I'll be able to actually "create" my own T-shirt. (It would probably not end up being a new brand or something because that would be difficult than just creating a few new ideas, if you get what I'm saying here...) So I think I will start tonight! Right now as a matter of fact, why not start now when I have the inspiration going on? ;) Peace!

Unfortunately I did not catch any fish today while my brother got several! I guess he's more talented than I am so I really don't mind. Anyway we had a good time!

Later we went home and I made some delicious Tacos! (My favourite dish, for those who did not know..) We also watched the TV-show "Beyond the Break" and I must say I love Hawaii!

I really hope I will get the chance to go and visit L when she starts to study there later this fall! It would probably be all the three of us (the same girl-crew who went to Greece together and we sure had lots of fun together!) Anyway got to go now but I hope you will have a great evening! Ciao!

Fishing for a dream.

Today I will spend some time with my youngest brother. I promised him that we'll go and do what he loves the most - fishing. When we were small kids we often went fishing while staying at our summerhouse.

He's still in that age while I have become a boring grown-up (haha almost) anyway I thought he'd be happy so. We'll see if I'll catch something today! So I guess I better get ready to go out and start fishing for a dream.. (Love that song btw!)

I just finished watching James Bond - Casino Royale with my brother and mother. I actually enjoyed the film although I must say that I was a bit dissapointed with the end of it. Anyway I do prefer the old Bond films with other better actors such as Roger Moore etc. But now it's time for bed! Good night!

New purchases.

So here they are! My three new purchases. From the left a white/cream coloured long dress as seen on my cute friend Jess! I am deeply in love with it! The colour, the fabric everything about it.

I also found the famous "latex-tights" which I thought would be sold out but no I did found a pair! I know that some people might react differently about them but I sure love them too! If you add a black simple dress and a pair of high heels to them I'm sure anyone could look fab in them!

I don't know how many different nailpolishes I have now but I adore this new colour from Mavala, nr 72 - Nice. It is a nice colour to add on your nails if you're wearing black from head to toe. This is all for now.. Ciao!

Cherry Cheesecake.

Finally I'm home. Haha for some weird reason I was very tired after I spent only 2-3 hours in the city. And one should not blame the shoes! Because I was wearing my comfortable Converse so.. Anyway I managed to get the tickets and yes.. I did buy a few things, one of the items was on sale! Yay! I'll take some pictures of them later but now! My mother's delicious cherry cheesecake..! Yes my dear readers, today's plans is to go to town! (Stockholm) Firstly I must pay for the tickets I booked yesterday and then we'll see if I'll find something nice in the stores. (It's hard to resist them sometimes..) So I better get into the shower! Have a nice day!

To die for.

To die for. Almost. Still I did not mean it literally it was more like an expression! Anyway here it is! Marc Jacob's latest fragrance for us women and it is called "I love Marc", suitable name, don't you think? ;)

The sad thing is that they don't sell it everywhere. In other words you can only find it in more exclusive fashion countries such as France (Paris) and England (London). So this is a good tip if you'll be around these cities/countries during summer. I sure wish I could!

I am quite upset that they ignored Sweden once again.. But life goes on! We'll have our comeback that's for sure! It's been a long day and I'm really tired so good night to you all!

Finally, I've booked the tickets!

It is settled, next Tuesday on the 17th of July we will see the new Harry Potter film! (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) I am reading the novel right now so I hope that I'll finish it before next week..

We'll see how it goes but I will do my very best to try and finish it! Earlier I've read all the books before a premiere but I guess it's not the end of the world if I don't finish it in time. Anyway I'm looking forward to it and I know my baby brother feels the same about it ;)

"Sex and the city" the movie!

People have talked about it for a long time and finally it seems as if all of the four famous women from the show have agreed upon starting to produce "Sex and the city" the movie!

There have been problems with the contract because they have all claimed to have wanted the same amount of money for their characters in the film. Still it seems as if they have settled everything because today all four of them, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon have all signed the new contract.

I'm longing to see this film and I'm sure there are millions of women out there who would agree with me!

New day.

Good morning! When I woke up I looked outside my window and once again I had to face the grey sky and no sunshine.. Why can't we have better weather? I had planned to continue being outdoors when I came home from Greece in order to keep my so called "tan" haha but with no success (it's almost fading away..)

Although my brother said something yesterday that tomorrow (tuesday) we'll be having better weather! Let's cross our fingers and hope for the best!

Anyway since I won't go outside today I planned to structure and tidy my room a bit. I guess there's always something one can improve or do in the bedroom/house/appartment... Have a great day!

New style-book by Rachel Zoe

The famous stylist from Hollywood, Rachel Zoe who has transformed superstars such as Mischa Barton and Nicole Richie into true fashionistas has now written her first book about style and fashion!

The title of it is - "Style from A to Zoe: The Art of Fashion, Beauty, & Everything Glamour" One can order it from Amazon although I think I will wait a while because it hasn't been released yet. One thing is for sure, I will buy it! haha :)

Bad day.

I guess today was a bad day for me. (I guess explains my "sad" - if you can call it that - posts..) But I'm better now I just have to pull myself together so don't worry, I'll be fine. (I hope..)

Anyway I'm going to bed now, since I slept so bad yesterday due to the fever (which is now gone - finally!) So this is where I leave you. Sweet dreams!

Emptiness.

I wish I could explain the emptiness I'm feeling inside of me. All my hopes are gone. All my goals and dreams are now broken. There's simply nothing left. Nothing but lonenly emptiness. What will happen next...?

Fever.

I woke up around 6 AM this morning. I was very warm and my entire body was hurting so much that all I could say was pain pain pain. My dad came down to my room and said that I had fever and that I should rest today.. So that's what I'm going to do. Hopefully it will dissapear later. I need to eat something, I've been up since 6 and still haven't eaten? I'll write more later. Ciao!

Home sweet home.

Yes I'm back! My great week in Corfu, Greece is over. I had so much fun!! I don't know where to start.. Perhaps with the beautiful hotel? The interesting culture? The wonderful weather? (I'm talking about nothing but sun every single day and the temperature was above 30 degrees! I sure did love it there..) Their cute little shops in the city? (Where I by the way did find some pretty things! Pictures will come up later - when I'm finished unpacking my suitcase..)

I must not forget to mention the hot leaders at the hotel..! They were not from Greece but from Tunisia and my friend E and I we simply couldn't stop looking after them all the time! Haha and I guess we had our little "fun" with them when they invited us up to dance with them by the end of Tuesday night.. As I wrote previously there is so much to tell!

But unfortunately I haven't fully recovered from yesterday's nightmare - our flight was delayed with 6 hours!! Which lead to a long night and no sleep, which explains why I'm exhausted today (I arrived early this morning around 8 o'clock. Instead of 02.30 AM in the morning..)

So my plans for tonight is to relax, spend some wonderful time with my beloved family members (we'll probably watch a movie or something..) and after that go to bed early!! Because I really need to sleep.. So long! Have a great afternoon! It's good to be back! ;)
